What are harmful:
Multiple stings of bees, wasps and bumblebees are dangerous. If a person is stung by tens or hundreds of bees at the same time, a general toxic reaction develops. With multiple bites, weakness, dizziness, headache, chills, nausea, vomiting, and fever occur.
How to identify honey bees:
Method 1. Using tea
Add a spoonful of honey to a cup of tea. The drink has darkened slightly, there is no sediment - continue drinking tea, you were not deceived with honey.
Method 2. Using paper and matches
We set fire to a sheet of blank paper with a drop of honey on it. The paper is burnt, the drop is intact - good honey. Honey burns, darkens and melts - the bees were clearly eating sugar syrup.
Method 3. Using bread
Dip a slice of fresh bread in the amber delicacy for 5 minutes. The bread did not get wet at all, but only became harder - the hygroscopic qualities of natural honey worked. A softened crumb indicates the presence of sugar syrup.
Method 4.
Using cow's milkMix honey with hot milk. A fake honey with an admixture of burnt sugar will curdle, the correct honey will sink to the bottom and dissolve.
Method 5. Using blotting paper
Apply a drop of honey to the blotting paper for 2-3 minutes. There is a watery mark on the back - you bought a low-quality product mixed with sugar syrup or water.
Method 6. Using vinegar
Dilute with 1 tbsp. honey 1/2 cup distilled water, adding 3 drops of vinegar. After stirring, you see bubbles - this is the chalk added to the product "boils".
Method 7. Using iodine
Mix 1 tablespoon honey with 1/2 cup hot water and 3 drops of iodine. The liquid turned bright blue - the seller did not regret starch or flour for the honey.
Method 8. Using ammonia
Add ammonia instead of iodine from the previous method. The liquid gave a white color with a brown sediment - in front of you is honey with starch syrup.
