   Roaches

 How to identify:

Insect with a flat oval body, 1.7 to 2 cm long (or more). The head is triangular or cordate, flat, covered with a shield-like pronotum. Antennae elongated, multi-segmented, bristle-shaped. Pronotum large, almost flat, with transparent margins.

The elytra are dense, the hind wings are membranous, fold under the elytra. The elytra and wings are often shortened or completely absent. Legs with 5-segmented tarsus, all tibiae with spines

     What are harmful:

Bacteria, mold and other potential sources of disease collect on the legs and bodies of cockroaches, which can get on dishes or human food, leading, for example, to symptoms of food poisoning. In addition, cockroaches can cause allergic reactions and even lead to asthma.
